Job Description

Reed Finance isdelighted to be supporting one of our long-standing clients, based in the outskirts of Edinburgh to support in the recruitment of a new Finance Manager Opportunity.Reporting into the Head of Finance, my client is seeking a talented Qualified Accountant to join their organisation, supporting in the development of 3 Finance Business Partners andworking closely with non-finance stakeholders.The successful candidate will lead the preparation of the monthly management accounts, support with financial planning & analysis, whilst also playing a pivotal role in ensuring financial accuracy, compliance, and strategic budgeting.

Leading the Management Accounts team, responsible for accurate monthly reporting with variance analysis
Liaising with external auditors & advisors to facilitate financial year-end
Producing annual returns for external stakeholders
Analysing financial date, to create meaningful MI
Supporting with annual budget production, liaising with budget holders, and presenting to Senior Management
Taking the lead on quarterly forecasting, reviewing performance, variances and forecasting financial performance
Supporting continuous improvement

Candidate

Chartered Accountant
Strong communication skills, with demonstrated experience in working with non-financials
Team Management experience
Excellent analytical skills
