Job Description

The main duties of the Edinburgh based, Temporary Part Qualified Accountant role are to support the Financial Controller in all aspects of finance including accounts payable, receivable and delivering timely, insightful financial reporting.Client DetailsOur client is a well established business based in Musselburgh.DescriptionThe responsibilities of the Mussulburgh based, Temporary Part Qualified Accountant are;

  • Report P&L
  • Preparation of month end reconciliations
  • Assist with the preparation of monthly operational reporting
  • Supporting with the annual budget process
  • Prepare cashflow reports for 4 entities - comparing forecast with actual on a monthly basis, and updating rolling 12 month forecast
    • ProfileThe successful Musselburgh based Temporary Part Qualified Accountant will have;
  • Strong word & excel skills - Vlookup, sumif(s) and pivot tables minimum requirement
  • At least 2 years experience in a similar role
  • Good experience and understanding of accounts receivable
  • Good experience and understanding of accounts payable
  • Ability to complete cashflow forecast and compare with actual monthly cashflow
