Job Description

Support Worker Male* - Musselburgh, East Lothian£14.15 - £17.23 per hour 24 hours per week worked over 3 days - This role is initially part time working 8 hours per day, 3 days per week starting at 8.30 am, days of the week are negotiable and will be discussed further at interviewPaid weekly, plus mileage and holiday payPrestige Nursing and Care Edinburgh are recruiting for an experienced, reliable and caring Male Support Worker to support a male in the East Lothian area.This role is working with a gent who has an acquired brain injury in his family home. You will provide personal care, social stimulation and support to meet the clients needs.Experience of working as a Support Worker or Complex Care Assistant is essential. You should be able to demonstrate experience of working with clients with challenging behaviour, the ability to maintain boundaries and follow set protocols. Most of all youwill be driven, patient, have a calm approach and be comfortable working within a family home environment.At Prestige Nursing will give you all the tools and training you need to fulfil your potential and be successful in this role.We offer

What we are looking for
  • Previous experience of working in a support worker role with challenging behaviour
  • Valid driving license and access to own transport is essential.
  • Can provide 2 satisfactory references
  • Be caring and compassionate, reliable and resilient
  • Basic IT Skills (online learning and electronic record keeping)
