Job Description

Product Manager, Edinburgh, £30k to £40kWorking for an independent, global manufacturing company on the outskirts of Edinburgh, our client are seeking an experienced Product Manager.You will be tasked with the following responsibilities;New Product & Special Market Developments

  • Identify high volume ranges, low volume ranges, best sellers etc. for range review
  • Identify range ongoing status with NPD team based on stock levels & market demand
  • Coordinate with outside designers if we decide to launch new "Designer Collaborations"
  • Coordinate new product developments with production/sourcing:
  • Gather different components to review with NPD team
  • Gather all costs/margins necessary from production to review with NPD team
  • Coordinate development sample requests
  • Build pricing model for each product
  • Coordinate with internal design teams for new designs
    • Product Launches Ensure all aspects of product launch -
  • Accountable for critical path schedule for launch with production
  • Propose suite of display options provided in time for launch
  • Coordinate all packaging requirements with production
  • Coordinate with production and creative team for on-time delivery of artwork, insets etc.
  • Coordinate sales samples / sales kits for all markets
  • Coordinate pricing templates for all markets for launch
    • Marketing Materials
  • Brief creative team on global TRG
  • Brief creative team on product specific marketing materials / flyers
    • Knowledge/Qualifications:
  • Relevant Marketing/Design/Creative qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Microsoft Office Suite
  • Project Management Software desirable
  • Adobe Creative Suite desirable
    • Experience:
  • Thorough knowledge of all aspects of product management and can demonstrate success in marketing/product development environment.
  • B2B and B2C consumer marketing understanding
  • Demonstrate project management skills
  • Understanding cradle to grave product lifecycle
  • Experience of working to brand guidelines
