Job Description

Support Worker (Male) plus Driver £14.15 to £17.23/hr (depending upon experience) plus ,mileage of 45pence per mileMusselburgh (East Lothian) Shift Patterns (Part time) 3 days per week, 8am - 4pm (days are negotiable in consultation with family)Life at PrestigePeople are at the very heart of Prestige, and we want to make life better for them. As a Support Worker, youll join us in our continued efforts to make life better for our clients.Prestige Nursing & Care has provided home care for over 75 years and we have 35 local offices in England and Scotland. We look after a variety of clients in their own homes and we also work with local care homes, nursing homes and the NHS.Who will you be helping to make life better forThis service user presents with complex needs due to an acquired brain injury. Due to the complex nature of this individual we can only accept applicants who are experienced within this area. Furthermoer applicants must be male and have a valid driverslicence and access to their own vehicle (with business insurance)How will you be helpingOur primary aim is to ensure that they live with dignity and respect. You can help Prestige Nursing and Care achieve those aims by way of providing the following;

  • Medication management and administration
  • Personal care
  • Help around the house
  • General emotional support

Were looking for:
  • Six months paid experience in support work dealing with service users who have complex needs.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A drivers licence is essential for this role.
  • Good professional and personal references
