Job title: ChefLocation: Southern Hill Hospital, Mundesley Rd, Norwich, Norfolk, NR11 8ETRate Of Pay: £11.50p/hShift Patterns: 40hrs a weekInformation about the Role:Working as a Chef at Southern Hill Hospital your duties will include the following:Creating, preparing, and cooking fresh, nutritious and varied meals for our residents including those who may require modified or special diets.Ensuring preparation and presentation is always to a high standardplanning meals and consulting with residents and care staff to ensure that individual dietary needs and preferences are catered forSome responsibility for ordering, checking in and controlling suppliesWorking as part of a diverse staff teamOpportunities to influence the menu and the dining experience of those within our care (quarterly review of menus)Ensuring that the dining experience is positiveEnsuring that the kitchen standards are maintained in line with the Safer Food Better Business requirements.To prepare and present food to a high standard and quality.To ensure that you work within an agreed budgetWe are looking for someone with a passion for cooking!You will be organised with the ability to meet deadlines. Ideally you will have experience working in a kitchen producing attractive and high-quality meals.
