We have an exciting opportunity available for a Quality Controller to join our team based just West of Hull. You will join us on full-time, permanent basis and in return, you will receive a competitive salary of £10.20 per hour plus benefits. Working hours: MondaySaturday 7,15 to finish. Extra hours may be required at peak periodsJZ Flowers is a family business; although weve grown to be a large international business with annual revenues of around £110m, the Company still has an entrepreneurial family culture, and we really strive to keep this identity in our rapidlygrowing business.As our Quality Controller, you will be working closely with the Quality Control Team the successful candidate will ensure the quality of the product meets the customers requirements by checking the raw material stock and the finished product.What youll be doing as our Quality Controller:

• Checking the quality of the finished products (bouquets etc.), adhering to or exceeding the requirements of the appropriate sampling plan

• Checking the quality of raw material on intake according to specification

• Identifying quality problems and relay all non-conformities to the production line management

• Green Light reporting

• Investigating failures in the manufacturing process

• Liaising with all other members of the quality assurance team on all quality issues

• Keeping working environment clean and tidy

• Complying with the requirements of the company Health & Safety Policy
