Job Description

We are looking for full time Adult Support Workers in the South Manchester area of Greater Manchester. Experience is preferred but not essential as full training can be provided. About the company You would be joining a family run business, which was originally founded by a family who set up their first day service centre in their own home. They did this after realising there was a strong need for day-care support in their local area. They are an award winning, high quality provider of person-centred social care services for anyone over the age of 16. They support people with a range of needs including learning disability, physical disability, mental health, dementia and sensory needs. Their care setting and accommodation is very modern and includes a state-of-the-art Hydrotherapy unit and full sensory suite too. Pay Rates, Hours & Benefits

  • £10.00 + per hour (depending on experience), paid mileage, £70 sleep overs + Pension
  • Regular 40+ hours per week, Flexible availability Required.
  • Flexible Shift patterns available, 7am-3pm, 3pm-10pm, 9pm-9am.
  • 3 day’s emergency paid leave per annum.
  • Quarterly team social events including functions at local restaurants
  • Job description As their Adult Support Worker, you will support service users to live independently in supported living accommodation across two separate dwellings, as well as a 5-bedroom respite centre on site. You will build and maintain warm trusting relationships with service users and their families and encourage each adult to achieve their goals. You will also support them to enjoy a range of activities both in their home which will include, managing their bills, assisting the preparation of meals and helping with housework. There may also be elements of personal care involved with some of the residents. Your will also plan trips and accompany them out and about in the local community.
