Further InformationAn exciting opportunity has arisen in the Disabled Children Team in Northumberland, and we are looking to recruit an experienced full time Social Worker to join our team. The Disabled Children Team supports children and young people across Northumberland forthose in need of statutory support and intervention.The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out a range of statutory assessments of disabled children and their families, which will include assessments for Child in Need and Child Protection cases, as well as undertaking direct work with childrenand their families. This role will also include the completion of Carers Assessments where appropriate. The successful applicant will be passionate about improving outcomes for children and young people with a range of complex needs and their families. Youmust hold a relevant social worker qualification, be registered with Social Work England and have completed your ASYE. This position involves managing cases across the county.
