Further Information**This position is being advertised internally in the first instance to employees of Northumberland County Council only**Northumberland County Council are seeking a dynamic and highly motivated individual with excellent leadership skills to help lead in developing and implementing our mental health strategic vision in adult social care. This will include identifying service improvementsand monitoring of performance. We are looking for someone to undertake this senior manager role, with a drive that reflects our person-centred values and strengths-based approach on mental health recovery. Experience in complex care is essential.You will be expected to work in partnership with health colleagues in primary and secondary care, working closely with commissioners to ensure that community mental health services in Northumberland continuously improve outcomes for working age and older adultswith mental health conditions.The post holder will be joining an experienced and supportive senior management team and will be expected to have the ability to motivate and influence staff to improve practice. It is important that you become part of an inspirational team culture that isresponsible and accountable for the operational management and governance of a mental health social care services in Northumberland.Essential requirements: -Degree in Social Work (or equivalent) -Management Experience in mental health services.-Due to the nature of this role, it is an essential requirement that the post holder has a valid driving licence and has access to a car they can use for work purposes The starting salary for this position is £62993 (pay award pending).
