Job Description

Jackson Hogg are delighted to be working with a manufacturing organisation in Morpeth on the appointment of a Payroll Co-ordinator.Responsibilites:Monthly Payroll

  • Responsible for all ADP input ensuring accurate changes are processed
  • Calculations for payroll changes
  • Challenges consistency of application appropriately
  • Authorised documentation and correspondence filed for audit purposes.
  • Co-ordinates exit calculations and letters for final payments. Would then deal with subsequent external benefit claim requests, e.g., job seekers allowance, mortgage / insurance enquiries
  • Filing, may create new systems on a continuous improvement basis
  • Ensure all salaries are paid on time and accurately for all UK payrolls
  • Support HRIS Manager with statutory and contractual obligations to the appropriate bodies, HMRC, Social Security and Pension are paid in a timely manner
  • Liaise with all external and internal customers in a timely and efficient manner
  • Preparing and posting all financial transactions in to the ADP system.
  • Support the payroll services to ensure deadlines are met and that financial reporting is timely and accurate and in compliance with relevant legislation
  • Implement promptly any changes as required by HM Revenue & Customs and Department of Working Pensions
  • Key, review and issue all P11ds for all employees with a taxable benefit on time in agreement with legislation
  • Produce and issue all P60s for all employees in agreement with legislation
  • PAYE settlement agreements
  • Annual audits conducted, issues identified actioned and, or escalated for resolution
  • Communicates message and resolves simple, but also some complex and non-routine queries, i.e, open options queries particularly at payroll cut off
