Rated Good by Ofsted, we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Social Worker to join our supportive and dedicated team as a Local Authority Designated Officer (LADO). This is a bespoke/stand-alone post, ensuring safeguarding allegations against adultswho work with children are managed effectively. Working within a multi-agency context, you will use your extensive experience of social work and safeguarding, to coordinate the investigative process in response to allegations, providing advice, guidance, supportand challenge where necessary to organisations that work with children, to ensure children, young people and families in Northumberland are protected. We have a central base in County Hall, with some flexibility to work from home. We have access to hot desk facilities in other localities and work closely with other external agencies.
