The Integrated Wellbeing Service comprises 36 members of staff working withinHealth Improvement, Specialist Stop Smoking and Health Trainer teams who are responsible for delivering services and influencing parts of the system to improve the health of our residents in Northumberland.We are seeking to recruit a Health Improvement Practitioner with knowledge of Tobacco Control and Drugs & Alcohol, contributing to the development, implementation and evaluation of health improvement programmes across the County. The post will have emphasison delivering training and education packages on Tobacco Control and Drugs & Alcohol.The post holder will work autonomously within their health improvement specialism, working alongside other key health improvement staff and wider partners to deliver the overall Integrated Wellbeing Service programme.The post will Contribute to, and advises on, the development and implementation of local community health improvement programmes. Facilitate team working and collaboration by working with other partner organisations. Develops and maintains public health information and support structures. Facilitates and provides evidence-based training courses for Tobacco Control and Drugs & Alcohol via the Integrated Wellbeing Service training programme.
