That’s why we want bold, creative and agile thinkers who can help us move forward and innovate.The ServiceNorthumberland County Council’s Countryside and Green Spaces Team currently operates three Field Teams which carry out practical management work on public rights of way and at Country Parks and other Green Spaces.The RoleYou will be based at Plessey Country Park and under the direction of the Project Officer, you will lead a two person Field Team carrying out estate management work predominantly in south east Northumberland. Whilst directing the Field Assistant, you must carry out requested works safely, efficiently and effectively, keeping clear and accurate written records. You will be expected to work closely with staff from other Council departments and frequently come into contact with members of the public, particularly landowners and farmers so the ability to converse at ease with customers and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post.We are offering:
