Further InformationFIXED TERM TO 30 MAY 2024We are looking for an Administration and Finance officer to join our small team and help look after the Northumberland Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) - one of Englands finest landscapes. The post will provide administrative support to the AONB Partnership staff team and particularly our Farming in Protected Landscapes (FiPL) Programme.Some of the duties and responsibilities will include:To manage and support the administration and financial activities of the Farming in Protected Landscape Scheme, deal with incoming enquiries and communicate with applicants, support the appraisal panel and prepare financial and activity reports.To provide general administrative support to the staff team.Provide financial management support, monitoring income and expenditure, prepare financial report and funding claimsProvide administrative support to the Coast Care volunteering initiative, manage the volunteer database and support the Coast Care TrustWhat youll bringYoull have a minimum of three years experience in a similar role proving administrative support to a small team and ideally have experience of working on external grant-funded. You will be skilled in IT, using a range of applications to efficiently achieveobjectives.Highly organised and an excellent communicator who can quickly gain trust and confidence of colleagues, partner organisations, farmers and landowners and external funding agencies. Ideally you will have experience or knowledge of agriculture and/or protectedlandscapes and be passionate about the environment.This post is hybrid with an office base in Alnwick and the opportunity to work from home.
