Summary Were looking for you to join our team at the Little Moreton Hall site of the Cheshire and Wirral portfolio. If you have experience in delivering talks, helping to create displays, trails and events, and interpreting places for visitors then wed like tohear from youwith around 60,000 visitors a year, this role is all about connecting with people.Interviews will be held on 16th Marchwill be held at Little Moreton Hall.Contact .ukwith any enquiries. What its like to work here Little Moreton Hall, a timber-framed building, surrounded by a scenic moat, has defied logic for over 500 years and is still standing strong. Built to make a statement of their status by the Moreton family, Little Moreton Hall was constructed during theTudor period, with the earliest part of the house begun in around 1504. Nestled at the back of the hall is the manicured knot garden, where we grow herbs and vegetables that the Tudors would have used for their cooking and medicines. We also grow produce,which we use locally on site in our tea-room.Click here for more information about this location What youll be doing Dressed in 16th century costume, you will help to bring our place to life by delivering talks, chatting to visitors, and carrying out research to help create displays and family trails.The role works as part of the Living History team at the property which interprets the Hall for visitors and is a unique opportunity to engage people of all ages with what daily life was like in the 16th century.The post holder will work to ensure that we consistently offer our visitors the best experience on their day out and will be willing to work flexibly, with regular weekend and bank holiday working. There may also be occasional evening working with this roletoo.Driven by people - youll work with a variety of internal and external colleagues and deliver excellent customer service every day.
