Job Description

Data Modeller (Power Platform) - £400 - £500 - Contract A leading organisation that is currently undergoing a digital transformation is hiring a Data Modeller who possessesexperience designing and delivering data management solutions in Microsoft Dynamics 365 suite and Microsoft Power Platform. The selected Data Modeller will additionally prepare related data flows and transformations, to combine data from multiple sources for delivering business intelligence.The Data Modeller role will lead the capture of data requirements and draft data models, mappings and flows to support the wider data architecture activities in this area. They will also lead on data migration activities between systems.This is truly an exciting time to join this organisation as they undertake masses of change. The chosen candidate will lead the integration of a number of multi-million pound enterprise level systems and applications.Core Responsibilities:

  • Design the structure of the data management solutions and related data flows and transformations, to combine data from multiple sources for delivering business intelligence.
  • Ensure technical solutions support the accessibility, retrievability, security, quality, retention, and ethical handling of specific sets of data.
  • Examine data requirements, and apply data analysis, design, modelling, and quality assurance techniques to modify or maintain data structures and associated data transformation components.
  • Create and manage data models in all their forms, including conceptual models and relational database designs. Maintaining specialist knowledge of data warehouse concepts.
    • Requirements:
  • BSc in a scientific or computer science discipline, or relevant professional experience.
  • Demonstrable experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform, including the Common Data Service and Power BI.
  • Demonstrable experience of data modelling using UML standards.
  • Experience utilising Python, SQL or Postgres would be highly advantageous.
  • Demonstrable experience of working with a diverse range of systems and applying complex data modelling techniques to resolve complex technical problems; demonstrate a positive disposition towards problem solving.
  • Demonstrable experience exercising substantial personal responsibility and autonomy, possessing good organisational skills and the ability to work independently and with others.
    • £500 circa - per day - 3/6 months rolling contract - This opportunity will be 100% remote interview process with scope to start 100% remotely due to the current COVID 19 situation utilising Microsoft Teams. Required skills
