Are you the glue the keeps everything togetherIn a manufacturing process every department of the assembly team has their part to play, you are quite literally the person who glues the bits together!Each job that comes in is bespoke, you are there, pen and paper ready listening to your new boss the Workshop Manager telling you the specification of the new order that has come in!

• Gluing fabric together
• stretching material over solid surfaces
• stapling

All sounds simple, you will be given training, but you will need lots of patience and your attention to detail skills are your secret weapon!You might be doing something similar in your job, or you could even be someone who loves arts and crafts, maybe your experience is in clothing or upholstery, perhaps you love to upcycleYour workstation is an organised one, once you know what you need to create, you check all of the parts and materials and get to work getting everything ready to be passed through to your colleagues on the sewing team.When the finished item comes back out of sewing its your job to check it over to make sure it reaches the companies high quality standards!Most of your colleagues have been with the business for 10 years plus, and everyone who is in a leadership role has been promoted, which means you get your foot in the door here and show commitment, that next team leader position could have your name on it!If you are intrigued by engineering there is an opportunity to learn how to use the welding equipment too, no 2 days will be the same here, variety is the spice of life....
