Job Description

Job Vacancy: Band 4 Information Governance OfficerLocation: NewtownardsBrook Street is excited to present an immediate opportunity for a Band 4 Information Governance Officer with our NHS client in Newtownards. If youre ready to make a positive impact, this could be the perfect role for you!Position Details:

  • Job Title: Band 4 Information Governance Officer
  • Hours: Full Time - 37.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday
  • 12.25 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate Information Requests:
    • Process Freedom of Information, subject access, and external agency requests to ensure compliance.
  • Maintain Data Compliance:
    • Ensure accurate recording of Data Access Agreements and Impact Assessments for legal compliance.
  • Quality Assurance and Caseload Management:
    • Coordinate caseload processes, ensuring high-quality, timely responses within regulatory time-frames.
  • Effective Communication:
    • Communicate professionally with Trust staff, agencies, and the public, handling correspondence efficiently.
  • Supervision and Training:
    • Supervise staff, providing induction, training, and ensuring high performance standards.
  • Risk Management and Governance:
    • Monitor data quality in the Risk Management & Governance database, preparing reports for effective risk management.
  • Managerial and Generic Responsibilities:
    • Delegate tasks, take part in staff development, and adhere to quality system procedures and policies.
Qualifications / Experience:
  • HNC/D or equivalent with 1 year admin experience at Band 3, OR
  • NVQ 3 or equivalent with 2 years admin experience at Band 3, OR
  • 4 GCSEs (Grade A-C) including English, with 3 years admin experience at Band 3.
Skills and Requirements:
  • Proficient in word processing, email management, data input, and report extraction.
