Job Description

Warehouse OperativeAn exciting position has become available for a full time Warehouse Operative to join a friendly team based in Moira South Derbyshire. The working hours will be 8:30 am to 5pm with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break and successful candidate will earn a competitive salary.The successful candidate will carry out the general day to day processes of the warehouse, including order processing, despatching orders using the company’s barcode scanning software, booking shipments on courier software systems and receiving inbound materials from suppliers and storing into designated locations.Role Requirements

  • Approach tasks with enthusiasm, adaptability and energy.
  • Work with diligence and attention to detail (numerate with part numbers, quantities and location numbers).

    • Role Responsibilities
  • To use Sage software on the internal system to create and process orders, produce reports, locate and pick stock and assemble consignments.
  • To receive materials from suppliers and follow procedures to make the stock available for picking.
  • To make up sub assembly kits ready for picking.
  • To assist with stock takes and stock location updates where required.
  • To complete relevant records and documentation.
  • To be able to use suppliers’ software for UK and international shipments.
  • To work safely and efficiently.
  • To be available for other duties as required by the business needs.
  • To keep the working environment clean and to minimise waste of materials and energy.
