Job Description

We are seeking to appoint a highly skilled, qualified practitioner to work within our Business Studies Department to teach students from Key Stages 3 to 5. They will be committed to raising achievement in Business Studies and there is potential for Responsibility for Business Studies to be considered for the right applicant. The Business Studies Department is well resourced with excellent access to IT facilities.The successful candidate will:

Be a high calibre, experienced practitioner who can teach all students across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5.

Have experience of teaching GCSE, A Level and Vocational Business Studies courses

Be able to show a strong track record of raising student attainment through their teaching.

Have the capacity to develop the subject curriculum and bring innovative ideas to the classroom.

Have excellent subject knowledge and a strong classroom presence.

Show ambition and drive to develop professionally.

Demonstrate the capacity and confidence to lead a team and hold staff to account.

Hold QTS (or equivalent) and a relevant undergraduate degree.
