A Learning Mentor is needed in a mixed Secondary School in South London.This will be a full time and long term/permanent Learning Mentor post. Working hours are 8am to 4pm, every day.If you secure the job, you will expected to meet all standard Learning Mentor responsibilities, as well as uphold the ethos of the school.You will need to be able to support pupils across all key stages as a Learning Mentor.General responsibilities will include but not be limited to; assisting lower attaining pupils in class, working 1:1 with specific SEN pupils and carrying out brief refresher sessions for particular groups of children.The rates of pay for this Learning Mentor position will be between £72 to £100 a day, depending on the qualifications and experiences of each candidate.The SchoolAn Outstanding Secondary school and sixth form in South London, located near a Site of Nature Conservation Interest (SNCI).It is a mixed, 11 - 18, non-selective school with a wide demographic of pupils and staff.The team has a positive reputation for being very friendly, inclusive and supportive.In terms of career progression for staff, the school is second to none, offering opportunities that allow each member of the team to reach their maximum potential. • Right to work in the UK
• Clear and up to date Enhanced DBS
• UK Bachelors Degree or overseas equivalent
• Experience of supporting/working with children from the ages of 11 to 18
