Job Description

CleanerLocation: MitchamHours: Full timeContract: PermanentSalary: £11.50 per hourOur client is looking for a Cleaner to undertake the cleaning duties of the communal areas and the deep cleaning of vacated units at Hall Place. Ensuring cleanliness is maintained to the standard required and that Health and Safety regulations are adheredto, alongside delivering excellent customer service.Main responsibilities include:Cleaning / Communal Areas

  • Clean any assigned residential unit on a weekly basis including changing linen and follow laundry protocols
  • Tidy and clean the designated common areas to the standard as directed
  • Dust, damp wipe or polish all hard surfaces to a quality sheen using appropriate cleaning chemicals including windowsills, radiators and glass surfaces
  • Clean communal kitchens – clean appliances, worktops, sinks, and wash the floor
  • Clean laundry rooms - clean appliances, sinks, clearing dust, and mop the floor
  • Clean the bathrooms - empty waste bins, clean bath, shower, basin and toilet
Operations
  • Ensure daily and weekly cleaning schedules are adhered to
  • Empty waste bins in internal and external communal areas. Deliver all waste to the collection point
  • Replenish supplies such as paper towels and hand sanitizer and minimise spoilage, breakage and wastage of operating supplies
  • Collect any litter inside and around the surrounding area of the building, including the car park and building boundary wall
Person specification:To be the ideal candidates for this role, you’ll:Love to clean and take pride in the work you do, making sure nothing gets missed.Be a team player, adaptable and can often work alone without supervision.Have excellent speaking and listening skills and are well presented.Have previously worked in a similar role in property management or in a hospitality role.Overall, you love getting the job done and enjoy seeing the results of your hard work, offering an excellent standard of cleaning to our clients residents.Our client confirms its commitment to equality of opportunities in all areas of its work.
