We are currently working in partnership with one of the UKs leading forward thinking utility companies. They are currently working on minor telecoms responsive works inside the M25.Our client is looking to strengthen the division with an experienced Civils Supervisor from a utility background.Salary to £50k | Company Vehicle or Allowance | Pension | 25 Days Holiday + Bank HolidaysKey Essentials:* As Civils Supervisor you will be responsible for overseeing teams involved in minor telecoms works including excavation for duct replacement and replacement of frames and covers in the highway* Based from home, you will be required to carry out initial site surveys. Noting the road type, potential hazards / areas of concern, any required TM and materials needed* Working to tight time constraints, the role will involve regularly liaising with the client to determine the priority of works* Advising back office staff of streetwork permit conditions to ensure that permits are in place at all times with timescales adhered to* Ensure that all staff under supervision are competent, fully trained, are aware of all requirements and have been fully approved, appraised and / or inducted before starting on site* Carrying out audits to ensure that work sites meet NRSWA and Health & Safety standards* Ensure all productivity targets are achieved* Ensure that all work is carried out safely and to adequate standards as stated in the contract specification* Review and closure of all corrective actions / improvement actions raised against works* Ensure all completed works documentation is completedRequirements:* As Civils Supervisor you should have previous experience overseeing teams on utility civils and reinstatement works* NRSWA Supervisor accreditation with good knowledge of the New Roads and Streetworks Act* Good IT skills and be a confident communicator#civilssupervisor #utilities #streetwork #NRSWA #excavation #gas #water #power #telecom #fibre #connections #manmanagement #hv #lv #FTTP FTTX #duct #pipe #cable #subduct #reinstatementBy applying for this position, you are agreeing for CVL:LDN to hold and process your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
