Job Description

Part-time Accounts Assistant | £13.34 ph| Temp to August 23 | Minworth | 22.5 hours p/wPenns Personnel are delighted to be recruiting for our well established and well respected client based in Minworth.We are looking for a part time Accounts Assistant who is reliable and trustworthy to join the team . Immediate start available.Experience & Knowledge of:

  • Understanding/operating a weekly contra system
  • Manage partner accounts on both sales ledger and purchase ledger
  • Prepare weekly payment requests/remittance advice memo’s
  • Payment and receipt allocation
  • Cash book and bank reconciliation
  • Debtor chasing/reporting
  • Credit Control
  • Pegasus Opera 3 - would be advantageous
Key requirements:
  • Excellent communication - written and verbal
  • Quick to learn
  • Accurate with excellent attention to detail
  • Friendly team player
  • Adaptable to change
  • No finance qualification needed
  • Excellent Excel
Hours : 22.5 hours per week - 3 days preferred Tues/Thurs/Fri although can be flexible ie 9.30am - 2.30pm Mon - Fri for exampleSalary : £13.34 per hourLocation: MinworthIf you are interested in working for this excellent company in a friendly team environment, and have good Accounts experience - we want to hear from you asap.
