Job Description

Robotics Programmer / OperatorLocation: SittingbourneMonday - Friday: 19:30 - 04:30 (holiday 23 days + bank holidays)Salary: £29, 000 - £33,000 PA + Overtime x 1.5 (+ bonus + annual profit share)Company descriptionConnect Personnel are representing one of the UK’s most prestigious Engineering Companies whose vision is to bring volume manufacturing back to the UK.   • Writing and modifying robot programs to define the robots movements, actions, and sequences required for specific manufacturing tasks.
  • Collaborating with engineers and production personnel to improve manufacturing processes by optimising robot programming, cycle times, and overall efficiency.
  • Ensuring that robots/cobots are always fully operational on both shifts,
  • Supporting & Training Robot operators
  • Supporting Quality & Engineering team with fixture designs
  • Identifying and resolving technical issues related to the robots, such as program errors, communication problems, or mechanical failures, performing routine maintenance tasks to keep the robots/cobots in good working condition.
  • Ensure safe and smooth operation of work flowing through all robots/Cobot.
  • Setting of Fixtures & loading programs for operators
  • Ensure to meet the quality and production requirements.
  • Performing duties in a safe and smart manner
Skills and Experience
  • Experience in programming and operating Fanuc industrial robots
  • Prior experience working with industrial robots in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to identify and resolve technical issues related to robots, along with the ability to perform routine maintenance tasks.
  • Mig welding knowledge
  • Ability to read engineering drawings.
  • Personal responsibility and self-motivation
