Our client is looking to recruit a Nursery Manager to be based at their 60 place nursery in Rickmansworth. Our client operates 37 nurseries nationwide.Our client is dedicated to providing high-quality care and delivering incredible outcomes for the children in their care.Our client knows that children and babies are explorers and investigators, which fuels their passion to create environments that are skilfully set up to capture childrens fascination and imagination. They focus their planned activities around each childas an individual, looking at their developmental needs and next steps in learning.This nursery also has a huge and exceptional outdoor play space for the children, which forms the hub of our nursery.Nursery Manager - OverviewThis position requires previous experience in managing the day-to-day running of a Nursery. You will be responsible for all financial operations, the recruitment and ongoing training and development of staff whilst ensuring the nursery is being run to thehighest standard in the upmost professional way.Nursery Manager - Qualifications & ExperienceA Childcare and Education qualification equivalent to NVQ level 3A higher-level qualification in Early Years Childcare and Education/Childhood StudiesA management qualificationA current First Aid qualificationA sound knowledge of childcare development from birth to five yearsA minimum of 2 years experience in a supervisory role in the delivery of services to young children would be preferredNursery Manager - Key Responsibilities Promote and facilitate partnership with parents/carers and other family members.Develop and maintain highly professional working relationships with relevant Local Authority departments, regulatory bodies and other agencies.Manage the occupancy to ensure it shows growth and meets the business aims.Maintain accurate accounts for the nursery and produce management information in accordance with company procedures.Manage, monitor and control budgets and maintain petty cash systems.Identify training needs, develop a training plan and evaluate training undertaken by staff.If you feel this role is suitable for you please apply today.
