My client are a large food business with an excellent reputation. An opportunity has arisen for a Butchery Production Manager at the site in Edinburgh.This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Production candidate to join a business that will offer progression opportunities to the right person, quickly.We are keen to speak to candidates from food manufacturing background, butchery experience will be highly advantageous but is not essential.Please note - this role is ideally going to cover Sunday to Thursday working pattern. This is negotiable for the right person.The Role: Direct management responsibility for a small team of Butchery / Production Staff - including Operatives, Supervisors and Line Leaders. Involvement in on-going projects and advancements on site Responsibility for managing communication between all relevant departments (as well as Senior Managers) Hands-on role that requires you to lead by example with operational involvement where needed Process/Planning and People ManagementThe Candidate: An experienced Production Supervisor or Team Leader - ideally from the Food Industry.
