Job Description

Are you an HR individual looking for a new challengeWe are recruiting an HR advisor to join our growing and fast paced change team on a 12-month fixed term contract. As part of a busy team, you will focus on providing day-to-day HR support and advice to management in designated area(s) of the business.This will involve acting as a case manager for allocated issues and/or project managing specific streams within an overall program and also includes advice and support on immediate and short-term people issues.We can offer work flexibility, benefits which you can flex to meet your needs and training and development opportunities.Roles at this level achieve results and provide services either personally or through others in a specific area or field to meet defined quality or efficiency standards or to ensure best practice advice is given.This is a phenomenal opportunity for an HR generalist looking to gain experience in a change team so if you are a problem-solver, with a good commercial judgment and an influential person in customer relationship able to work autonomously, we would loveto hear from you!What you will be doing:

  • Work with line managers in the business to assess needs and design, deliver and evaluate HR initiatives that enable them to achieve their strategic objectives, are legally compliant, and reflect standard methodology;
  • Advise and coach managers on how best to interpret and apply HR policies and processes to ensure that they are applied correctly and do not expose the Company to risk (financial, reputational) but are adapted to the individual case and support the linemanager in achieving objectives;
  • Investigate and resolve day-to-day employee relations issues, supporting managers in using the full range of HR policies e.g. grievance, disciplinary, to ensure matters are handled appropriately and in line with legislative and organisational requirements;
  • Establish and maintain internal/external customer relations to ensure a high level of service is provided;
  • Collate and provide information to ensure accuracy of reporting or to meet internal/external client requirements;
  • Develop and deliver training courses and other learning events to employees/Managers to reinforce or launch HR related activities;
  • Involvement in ad-hoc projects with HRBPs and HRD to support business strategic aims i.e. employee engagement and new business;
  • Supporting with employee communications as the need arises for key people initiatives or projects;
  • Collation, interpretation and analysis of data on key people metrics;
  • Provision and manipulation of data within excel on an ad-hoc and project basis as required;
  • Project due-diligence i.e. for TUPE transfers.
What youll bring:
  • Able to negotiate and influence in order to bring about behavioral change and to balance the needs of many;
  • An understanding of relevant laws and regulations as they apply to the relevant country;
  • Awareness of developments in the HR market and relevant best practice thinking;
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft packages, particularly use of excel functionality to report and present information appropriately to HR and business partners.
