Job Description

QA Document Controller for a permanent role based in Stokesley, reporting to the Quality Assurance Manager Your new companyMy client is a fast growing business and in preparation for upcoming work are looking for a document control specialist for their Stokesley site. The role will manage documents (electronic and paper) within Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs to ensurethat all GMP regulated documents are filed systematically and are easily retrievable. Duties will include managing intake, handling, and storage of quality documentation. Your new roleIn this new role you will be responsible for:

  • Receiving and maintaining all GxP documents, including SOPs, test methods, specifications, incident reports, CAPAs, complaints, and computer system validation;
  • Maintaining GxP audit files and assist with entry, tracking, and archiving of audit records;
  • Administering document lifecycle management as well as the Document Change Request process;
  • Reviewing documents submitted through the change control process for completeness, review and approvals. Issuing controlled document copies to internal and externals requestors;
  • Ensuring secure destruction and disposal of sensitive documentation;
  • Ensuring uniform format for documentation across all business sites;
  • Supporting documentation of the NCR process.
What youll need to succeed
  • Experience within the pharmaceutical/biotech field performing document management and electronic document management;
  • Knowledge of quality systems and regulatory compliance requirements within pharmaceutical or biotech environment, working to GMP standards;
  • Ability to solve problems and work collaboratively in a team environment;
  • Detail orientated mindset and good communication.
