We invest in ouremployees for the long term and we are committed to supporting your development within the company.Job DescriptionJob Title: Bulk Laboratory AnalystJob Type: PermanentHours: 40 per weekJob Location: MiddlesbroughRemuneration: £20,000 per annumAs a Bulk Laboratory Analyst, youll be responsible for analysing samples whilst providing additional project management support to the Operations Manager.Key Accountabilities;

Accurate interpretation of job card instructions including any scope of works or contract review; subsequent accurate identification of asbestos fibres including clear recording of same.
Timely processing of samples and production of final report as per the recognised "points" system.
To assign 3 hours per day to Project Support duties which will be delegated by the Operations Manager.
To work to the companys established quality, safety and environmental procedures strictly at all times.
To cooperate with the QC department including completion of the required audit schedule.
To actively enhance professional development by attending monthly toolbox talks and any other training sessions.

QualificationsTo be successful in this role, youll need experience in asbestos bulk laboratory with a comprehensive knowledge of asbestos analytical PLM techniques.In addition to the above youll also need to demonstrate the following;

P401 Certificate
Understanding of the risks associated with ACMs.
Inquisitive and diligent nature, appreciation of the importance of the job and understanding of the QC system requirements.
Basic IT skills.

The following attributes would be desirable, but not essential;

Experience in conducting other related asbestos work such as fibre counting.
QHSE experience.
