Job Description

This is a very well-run GP Practice who are passionate aboutproviding an excellent quality of care to its patients. Are you an organised individual who takes real pride in your workload Confident with Microsoft Office and loves a sticky note Do you have previous NHS or GP experience Then we would love to hear fromyou!Ideally, you will have previously worked within a GP Practice or for the NHS.Key Responsibilities:* Welcome all to the practice in a polite and professional manner* Liaise with patients to arrange new and follow-up appointments* Process repeat Prescription requests* Input data into the patients healthcare record as necessary* Signposting patients to appropriate members of the admin and clinical teams* Helping to ensure a smooth flow of patients through the surgery* To ensure the accurate, efficient and effective administrative functioning of the surgery* Answer incoming calls as required, divert calls and take messages* Ensuring an effective and efficient reception service is upheld* Responsible for reviewing and ensuring that referral patterns are kept at an acceptable rate* Photocopy, scan and workflow documentation as required* To assist with the registration of new patients both electronically and paper-based* Assisting the Admin & Reception Team with all administration duties* Assist with the effective recording of data onto the clinical system* Provide a high standard of customer service to all patients, this includes referrals management, provision of medical letters and resolution of patient queries* Support all clinical and management staff with general tasks as requestedKey Skills:* Excellent written & verbal communication skills* Team player* Medical terminology* Worked in an NHS environment* Be able to work to deadlines* Accurate* Ability to prioritise your workload* ConfidentialPersonal Profile:* Excellent written & verbal communication skills* Confident with all aspects of Microsoft Office* Attention to detail and accuracy* Customer service orientatedSalary & Benefits:* £22,500 - £25,000* Pension Contribution* Free Parking* Monday to Friday* Based on the outskirts of HorshamDue to the location please note you must have access to your own transport.If this role sounds like your next dream job, then please apply today!
