Job Description

Portfolio Accountant in DerbyWe are currently working with a highly reputable practice of accountants in Derby who are looking to take on an experienced Portfolio Accountant.This well-established firm is looking to expand their team by taking on an experienced accountant.The successful Portfolio Accountant will undertake a varied role in which you will gain exposure to a wide range of clients from a variety of business sectors. This role will include the preparation and review of accounts and tax compliance work, you willbe client-facing.

  • The ideal candidate will be ACCA / ACA qualified and have a minimum of 4 years of previous practice experience.
The main duties of the Portfolio Accountant include:
  • Managing own portfolio of clients
  • Preparation of annual accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
  • VAT Returns
  • Corporation tax returns
  • Personal tax returns
  • Production of management accounts
  • Client Bookkeeping
