Are you a confident individual who would like to explore an Occupational Therapy Assistant role and a more rewarding clinical challenge in female mental health and personality disorder services Are you ready to develop your clinical skillsPost:Occupational Therapy AssistantBase: Aspen House and Aspen ClinicResponsible for:Delivery of group and individuals interventions, providing feedback to the Occupational Therapist and Multi-Disciplinary Team.Responsible to:Adam Robinson and Courtney DaviesHours:40 hours per week Monday to Friday.Location:Manvers Road, Mexborough, South Yorkshire, S64 9EX.Join our supportive friendly team near the lively city of Sheffield and make an application today.For an informal discussion about the role please contact Adam Robinson Head OT - or our in house recruiter Grace CockroftWith over 150 OTs in the company, we also work together as a large team providing support to each other across the group, with various specialist interest groups to tap into, including Mental Health, Neuropsychiatry, Autism, Learning Disabilities and SensoryIntegration, to name a few.The role at Aspens covers two different sites, Aspen Clinic a highly specialised female personality disorder unit and Aspen House, a high dependency specialist placement for females with mental health difficulties. The role will be split over both sites2.5 days per week at each.As an Occupational Therapy Assistant, you will provide direct clinical care under the supervision of the Occupational Therapist. This will encompass the use of OT assessments and treatment in both groups and individual sessions.In this role you will help devise and implement an OT treatment programme according to service users diagnosis and identified needs. This will be based upon findings from assessments including associated risks, in order to develop treatment plans accordingly.Prioritisation skills are key to manage the caseload of clients effectively and you will work closely with the Occupational Therapist and multidisciplinary team onsite.3 reasons why you should make an application today

We are looking for people who:
  • Are highly motivated
  • Experienced in the field of adult mental health or personality disorder environments.
  • An understanding of Occupational Therapy and the process/interventions
  • Excellent communication and time management skills
  • Ability to manage highly demanding clinical presentation
