We are working with a company who sits within the consumer finance bracket, and due to them securing new supply chain routes, and excellent business growth, they now need to appoint a strong Collections Manager. This person will head up the collections areaand also over view the business support team. Ideally our client is wanting someone from the finance background who has worked within debt management, mortgage collections, loans etc...Day to day duties you will be responsible for managing the team, putting effective procedures in place to ensure collections are at their highest.Liaise with customers and suppliers to ensure strong relationships.Work to strict compliances.Liaise and work with out-sourced debt companies.Collaborate with the under-writing department.Be involved with the on-boarding of new suppliers.Strong relationships with colleagues and management.Conduct regular reviews of the team, deal with any severe late payment problems.Be able to offer a high level of communication both verbally and written.Use of Microsoft products is essential.The successful candidate requirements to meet the above are as follows;Educated to at least grade C or equivalent in Maths & English.3-5 years in a leadership position, predominately within finance or debt management.Knowledge of consumer credit act 1974 is an advantage.Show strong patience and empathy.Our client is growing with excellent career opportunities. The working week is Monday - Friday, between the hours of 09.00am - 6.00pm - based on working 35 hours.
