Job Description

Hire/Maintenance ControllerDoncasterRole: Hire/Repair ControllerLocation: Doncaster/Conisborough/Denaby/MexboroughJob Type: Full time permanentHours: 8.30am -5.00pmSalary: Competitive salary depending on experienceBenefits include: 28 days holiday including stats, company pension, on-site parkingWould you like to join a growing local company providing a varied and interesting role within their workshop working full time Monday to Friday Do you have previous experience working in a plant/ fleet hire environment If so we would like to hear from you.The role: To support the maintenance manager, warehouse manager and operations manager to ensure all hire plant is checked in, maintained properly and fit for purpose at point of hire and ensure all customer repairs handled efficiently.Key responsibilities

  • Ensure all off hired goods are inspected, repaired where necessary, cleaned and re-stocked in a timely manner in accordance with the checking procedure
  • Check all outgoing hire equipment is fit for purpose
  • Assist the Maintenance Manager with repairs of the hire fleet and customer returns where third party sub contract is not required
  • Assist with managing third party sub contractor repairs alongside the Operations Manager
  • Assist the Maintenance Manager with building and testing new equipment to time frame agreed
  • Ensure the system is updated with each inward/outward movement
  • Issue/Receive hire plant on the stock system
  • Manage hire/return/repair paperwork
  • Completion of a weekly time sheet to allow monitoring of plant expenses
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures relating to health and safety, and quality management
  • Adhere to procedures relating to the proper use and care of equipment and materials for which the role has responsibility
