Job Description

Electrical Maintenance Engineer Location: Mexborough Salary: £41kShift: Mon-Fri (rotating) A Steel Metal Fabricator are looking for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join their team!Maintenance Engineer - Overview

  • Responsible for efficient operation and maintenance of electrical systems, equipment, and machinery in a manufacturing facility.
  • Perform routine inspections, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of electrical systems and associated equipment.
  • Calibrate and maintain electrical measuring and testing instruments.
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules and procedures.
  • Diagnose and rectify electrical faults, malfunctions, or breakdowns promptly.
  • Ensure compliance with electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams for equipment upgrades and modifications.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and generate reports as required.
  • Provide technical guidance, training, and support to other maintenance staff.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements, cost reductions, and energy conservation.
Maintenance Engineer - Job Requirements:
  • Proven experience in electrical maintenance in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, circuits, and components.
  • Proficiency in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical faults.
