Linq Healthcare are proud to be working with a state-of-the-art Private Hospital in Merseyside who require two Scrub Nurses to join them on a permanent basis. Who are Pall Mall MedicalThis independent Private Hospital has two theatres and 11 beds. Theyprovide both day case and overnight facilities, predominantly to patients who are undergoing elective Cosmetic Surgery. They also perform some Gynaecology, Urology and ENT procedures.Their Hospital facilities include:2 theatres (1 laminar flow)11 private,en-suite bathroomsMinor ops suiteEndoscopy suiteDiagnostic suite (MRI, CT, X-Ray, Mammography)Consultation suiteYou will be working on a mixture of cases including -General anaesthetic, local & sedation, local anaesthetic proceduresElective Cosmetic Surgery,Gynaecology, Urology and ENT procedureThe Hospital also has two city centre clinics in Manchester and Liverpool, where they provide rapid access to a wide & holistic range of private healthcare services, including: Private GP appointments, specialist consultations,advanced diagnostics, health screening, occupational health and medico legal services.They pride ourselves on delivering 5-star healthcare to all our patients and clinicians. They are looking for someone to take a lead in the peri-operative team.Duties also include:As part of the theatre team you will actively participate in and maintain the highest standard of care and safety for patients,visitors and staff in the operating theatre suite.Competency in all aspects of theatre technique and proceduresMaintaining accurate clinical observation of the patients clinical condition and alerting medical staff when requiredIdentifying and discussingthe nursing problems or needs with the patient, relatives and other staff as deemed necessaryPromoting the incorporation of discharge planning into patient care, ensuring safe discharge of day surgery patientsParticipate in the training and development ofother staff.Perform compressive assessment of patient care needsPlan, implement and evaluate care according to changing health care needsSupervise and support other team membersFor more information and a confidential chat, please get in touch with Joe Warnerat or
