Job Description

Job Title: MRI Radiographer, Band 6Location: Rainhill, PrescotStart Date: ASAPWorking hours: Monday to Friday, 0900-1700Hourly Pay Rate: £19 - £22Vacancy Number: 61566The Client:Our client provides acute and community healthcare services at St Helens and Whiston Hospitals, both of which are modern, high quality facilities with an excellent track record of providing high standards of care to a population of approximately 360,000people, principally from St Helens, Knowsley, Halton, and Liverpool, but also from other neighboring areas such as Warrington, Ormskirk and Wigan.The Role:

  • To provide high quality and timely MRI and other Radiographic examinations for users following protocols and guidance to enable best diagnosis and treatment. Prioritize and assess workflow reacting to the needs and safety of patients at all times.
  • Supervise radiography and imaging support assistants.
  • Take responsibility for radiation safety in your work area, including checking equipment for malfunctions and errors.
  • Observe the rules and regulations of their professional bodies. (Society and College of Radiographers and Health & Care Professions Council). Maintain an up-to-date record of CPD activities in line with the requirements of the HCPC.
Skills Required:
  • Be HCPC registered.
  • Possess significant MRI experience.
  • Able to cannulate
