Job Description

Are you an experienced Measurement Room Specialist looking for your next roleWould you love to play a pivotal role in the team at the newly transformed Ford Transmissions site in HalewoodHalewoodFord is investing £355m into the HalewoodHalewood site to produce electric power units and HalewoodHalewood will be the first site to manufacture EVEV components in Europe, commencing in 2024 with a capacity of 420,000 units.Salary: £42,841.75 basic payHours: Monday to Thursday 7:00 - 15:30 and Friday 7:00 - 12:30 (must be flexible to work shift patterns when required)Qualifications, Skills and Experience

  • Completed Mechanical/Electrical apprenticeship or an HNCHNC/HNDHND equivalent in a relevant subject (as a minimum)
  • Good knowledge of products and manufacturing processes.
  • Experience working with CMMs
  • CMMsExperience in an engineering environment
  • Computer literacy - good knowledge of Word, Excel.
  • Strong communication skills
  • The ability to read part drawings preferred.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable and willingness to learn.
  • Good understanding of 5S 5Sand workplace organisation.
Key Responsibilities (including but not limited to:)
  • Support commissioning of new measurement equipment.
  • Lead trainer for additional personnel.
  • Measurement of Internal and external purchased components.
  • Produce measurement reports for components measured.
  • Assist with Quality investigations providing measuring support.
  • Be able to work within a team to ensure tasks are in line with targets.
