Job Description

Level 3 Teaching AssistantAre you a Level 3 qualified Teaching Assistant who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with Special Educational Needs and DisabilitiesIf so, Tradewind have an exciting opportunity for you! We are currently looking for a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join our team and work in some fantastic SEND Schools in the following areas:

  • Liverpool
  • Sefton
  • Knowsley
  • West Lancashire
Responsibilities:
  • Provide 1:1 or small group support to children with SEND.
  • Assist with the effective implementation of Educational Health Care Plans (EHCPs).
  • Work closely with teachers, teaching assistants, SENCOs and other professionals to ensure a well-rounded support plan for children.
  • Support with behaviour management both in the classroom and throughout the school.
Requirements:
  • Hold a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
  • Have experience working with children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities.
  • Have two satisfactory references.
  • Hold an enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or be willing to apply for one.
