Job Description

Interim Group Financial Controller is required for a rapidly growing £100 t/o, AIM listed business services group based in Merseyside.The role will support a new CFO and take responsibility for delivering the following:

  • Preparation and presentation of divisional and consolidated group management and statutory financial statements, in accordance with IFRS/UKGAAP.
  • FP&A and finance business partner teams with the review of dashboards, management accounts, and other analysis.
  • Owning the audit process and implementing recommendations
  • Lead and coach the accounting team with both qualified and part-qualified accountants
Applicants must be qualified accountants (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) and have had exposure to either listed or PE backed group reporting environments. Strong technical accounting and financial reporting experience, including IFRS and UKGAAP, is essential and an earlycareer background in audit would be highly advantageous.There will be a requirement for a permanent appointment, so the interim duration is likely to be 6 months.Interim rate is c£700 per day and the permanent salary would be c£100,000 package plus LTIP, Bonus, Pension and Health.Remote working is available.
