Job Description

HR MANAGER - SPORTS & LIFESTYLE BRAND | NORTH WEST This brand have soared significantly over the past year, with almost tripling their turnover with it. Key Responsibilities as HR Manager: First line HR support across the business providing accurate and comprehensive HR advice, escalating matters to the Senior colleagues where necessary
  • Manage and update all HR Documentation for current employees and retain files of leavers for the required period of time.
  • Assist the wider business with HR issues, challenges and every day matters
  • Be responsible for appraisals within the business & succession planning.
  • Maintain accurate records on employees right to work for audit purposes; follow up with employees whose right to work is due for renewal and keep the HR Right to Work spreadsheet up to date.
  • Support the Managing Directors with Recruitment
  • Support with Onboarding & Training
  • Support in creating a GREAT workplace culture, including assisting in internal communications.
The ideal HR Manager candidate will have/be:
  • Passionate about HR and people
  • An open, confident and passionate person who can work well with colleagues at all levels
  • Previous HR experience in providing advice and guidance to line managers on employee relations issues is essential.
  • Strong understanding of employment law with a generalist background
  • HR Qualification is essential / CIPD level 3 or higher is preferred
  • IT literate
  • Ability to work accurately, with strong attention to detail.
