Job Description

Engineering ManagerAn exciting new opportunity has arisen for an Engineering Manager role at a global inks manufacturing company based in Merseyside. As an Engineering Manager you will be responsible for driving the delivery for the fluids plants whilst leading daily operations.You will also be responsible for optimising solutions and delivering a range of products for the business.To be considered for this Engineering Manager position you will have at least 10 years’ experience in chemical, coating, or petrochemical engineering. You will also be experienced in SHEQ and liaising between divisions and sites.Key Responsibilities:

  • Dealing with hazardous chemicals and ensuring health and safety is adhered to across the fluid plant.
  • To manage a team of engineers to promote efficiency.
  • Manage targets and achieve KPIs.
  • Liaise between UK and global sites.
  • Work closely with maintenance managers and process engineers to drive projects.
Knowledge and Experience:
  • Strong experience working and managing engineering within coating, ink, chemical, or petrochemical industries.
  • Experienced dealing with Health and Safety.
  • Ability to manage high targets and drive operations across plant sites.
  • Degree qualified in Chemistry/Engineering, or a relevant field.
Salary:
  • £60,000 to £68,000 – plus a generous benefit package (including car allowance).
