Job Description

Credit Controller - Part time - 25 hrs per week.Adele Carr are proud to be supporting a Family run business based in Knowsley, who are looking for a part-time credit controller to join their growing business. This role is ideal for candidates who would like to work part time with flexible working overthree days in the office. Team member will be responsible for all credit control duties including:

  • Daily Cash receipt analysis on Excel.
  • Cash allocation.
  • Timely cash collection from customers.
  • Weekly Invoice Run (Friday afternoon).
  • Query resolution - including liaising with hauliers for POD documents and raising credits.
  • Submitting shortage / damage claims to hauliers and ensuring collection of payment.
  • Liaising with Salesman for query resolution and assistance in cash collection issues.
  • NI document submission.
  • Customer credit checking and credit limit management.
  • Credit insurance limit submission and management.
  • Setting up new customers or branches on the system.
  • Completion of KPI spreadsheets.
  • Document scanning.
  • Document filing.
  • Collation of year end information required by auditors.
  • Answering general business telephone calls as and when required.
The business uses a bespoke warehouse system called Enterprise from Rubicon Computer Systems. Training will be included in the induction.Candidates must have good telephone manner, have excellent attention to detail and be proactive in ensuring timely collection of debt within credit terms.
  • Approx 80 - 100 live customers at any one time (number can be seasonal).
  • 18 days holiday plus Bank Holidays
  • Free On-Site parking.
