Job Description

Consumer Intelligence Manager required to join a major manufacturer of consumer goods, with an exceptional brand presence both online and offline. You will work independently and with 3rd party agencies to deliver actionable insights and recommendations to define classification and market intelligence plans and develop innovative proposals to encourage the adoption of new solutions.This role is currently 100% remote until summer and will involve a lot of flexibility when restructions have finished.Some of what you will be doing:

  • Spearheading consumer research and performance tracking and act as the "go-to" for market teams to guide the strategies.
  • Collecting insights and working with the business on translating insights into consumer focussed value propositions through workshops and different types of consumer research.
  • Ensuring the consumer is put at the core of all activity by collating all sources of consumer/customer/user feedback and extracting clear insights that ultimately lead to consumer driven improvements and a smooth consumer experience.
  • Managing research projects and collaborating with research agencies on segmentation, brand, and user journey
  • Analysing market insights/growth generation and track monthly performance of relevant businesses within the portfolio
  • Ideally, your skills and experience will include:
  • Solid analytical skills with the ability to analyse data correctly.
  • Expertise in the identification of key opportunities and pain points based on the data that is available.
  • A strong track record in qualitative & quantitative consumer research with sound knowledge of various research methods such as digital and social research tools.
  • Previous, relevant experience in an agency or in-house role (ideally)
  • Proven experience in analysing market data, complemented with the ability to shift large amounts of data into stories and recommendations.
  • The ability to convert questions into meaningful research tactics.
