Job Description

ASSISTANT MERCHANDISER | LIVERPOOL | SPORTS & LIFESTYLE BRAND | UP TO £27,000 DOE This brand have soared significantly over the past year, with almost tripling their turnover with it. Theyre hot on the market and everyone is watching them, including the competition. Huge collaborations, and even bigger connections with huge retail giants,theyre not planning on slowing down any time soon.Quality and design led, this is a brand that wants to be known for being accessible to all. Theyre looking at huge growth and with that comes opportunity for bigger teams! This is an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Merchandiser to join a fast growing & dynamic business. AS THE ASSISTANT MERCHANDISER:

  • Directly report into the Merchandiser
  • Youll work collaboratively with the design and product developers
  • Manage and own the critical path, ensuring all points of production are being met in a timely manner for on time delivery
  • Have regular catch ups with your product development team around the CP
  • Plan phasing, launches and initial quantities around buys for the season
  • You will be able to build clear plans and forecast continuity lines with your merchandiser for guidance
  • Share and communicate internally with marketing & social teams around campaigns and launches for styles being backed each season
  • Monitor all best & worst selling lines on a weekly basis
  • Pull and monitor daily sales
  • Prepare sales data and present actions for trade meetings
  • Work within the WSSI for re-forecasting & updating actualised sales
  • Monitor and accurately plan, to each style, the appropriate size ratios by style
  • Place and protect the cover of best selling, never out of stock lines
  • Ability to split sales down by partner and online
  • Work closely to the wider with monitoring the competition
  • Work collaboratively with partners and their merchandising, buying and marketing teams
  • Support with key trading periods i.e Black Friday & Christmas promos
  • Understand freight times, challenges and ability to book in stock with forwarders and warehouses
