Job Description

Are you passionate about supporting autistic people to live fulfilling and independent lives Do you have the skills and knowledge to provide high-quality, person-centred care and support If so, we want to hear from you!We are looking for an agency support worker to join our team of staff that specialises in various locations across the UK. You will be working with children and adults with autism in their community and residential.As a support worker, you will be:• Develop positive and respectful relationships with the people and will be meeting their individualised needs and preferences.• Supporting with daily living skills, such as personal care, cooking, budgeting, and medications• Support in going to the community including activities, appointments, shopping and much more.• Following care plans and keeping accurate and up-to-date records.To be successful in the role, you will need:• To have a minimum of 6 months UK experience in support and care, especially supporting people with Autism and other mental and physical needs.• Be an effective communicator and have developed written and verbal communication skills.• Be flexible in shift patterns as the role may be days, nights, weekends on a rota basis.As an agency worker with Reed Health, Care and Support, you will benefit from:• A competitive salary of £11 per hour, plus holiday pay and pension scheme• A variety of shifts to suit your availability and preferences• A dedicated consultant who will support you throughout your assignments• Access to a range of online training courses, including Safeguarding Level 3 and Safety Intervention Training• No more paper timesheets, as everything is managed through our online system• Weekly payment every FridayIf you are interested in this role or require further information, please apply online or contact .
