Search is delighted to be exclusively recruiting for a Merchandiser for one of our exciting and unique clients. Our client is a specialist retailer who is looking for an exceptional and passionate individual to join their team as a Merchandiser.You will predominantly responsible for merchandising, bit you will also pick up little bits of buying. You will also be a support to the Owner and Director by taking responsibility for the organisation and order processing for the goods sold online and in store. You will need to merchandise, facilitate and organise the ongoing buying, occasionally scout for new products, improve the filing system and link in with marketing regularly.You will need to be outgoing and happy step up and help out with other tasks because your team is proactive and small, everyone helps out where they can. You will be someone who is proactive, has high attention to detail and can juggle a lot of conflicting priorities.You must be an experienced candidate, who has worked with medium sized retail company before. Experience with online & physical stores would be preferred. You must have a passion for the product once you get to know it. The client will invest time in you to get you up to speed, but This will be office based job - based in an office in the North of Edinburgh. You will need to be travel within different outlets in Edinburgh regularly.
