Job Description

Sure Staffing are proud to be working with a prestigious client in Melton, Hull.Founded in 1848 our client is one of Europes largest sawmill and solid wood processing company. Having undertaken a £125m investment programme over the last 10 years, Our Client is committed to supporting sustainable forestry. With over 1,700 employeesSure Staffing are looking for experienced Timber Machinists to join and support their busy operation located in Melton, Hull.As a Timber Machinist you will be able to;

  • Running a moulder on one of our production lines
  • Coordinating the production activity for that specific line
  • Completing relevant quality specification checks on the output for the line
  • Coordinating all relevant paperwork associated with production orders
  • Keeping good clear written records of product details
  • always Maintaining general cleanliness of the factory environment
Qualifications Needed
  • NVQ- Level 2 in wood machine
Whilst full training and support will be given, it is important that you have operated a timber moulder previously, and ideally hold a relevant timber machining qualification (or have the equivalent experience in this area spanning 5+ years).Working Hours of a Timber Machinist
  • 39 hours per week
  • Monday to Thursday 07:15 to 16:00pm
  • (Early Finish Friday) working 06:00 to 12:00
Pay rates for Timber Machinist
  • £13.86 Per Hour, Rising to £14.80 Per hour
  • Opportunities for Additional Bonuses
  • Overtime available paid at Timeof the basic rate.
